Special Info  Ruth Robinson also known as Teacher Ruth passed away at her home in Palm Coast, Florida on Friday, April 11th 2014 at the age of 81. Ruth Robinson was born in St Paul’s, Grenada, West Indies on April 30, 1932. She was the second child and only daughter of the late Catherine nee La Touche and Rupert Robinson. At the age of sixteen Ruth became a teacher at the St. Paul’s Model School where she taught for fifteen years. She later taught at the St. George’s RC Boys School for two years. In 1966, Ruth migrated to the United Kingdom to pursue a career in Nursing. After a thirty year career in nursing, Ruth worked for Social Services. Ruth retired in 1997. In 2005 she moved to Palm Coast, Florida to be with her family. Ruth enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading and listening to music. She is survived by her daughter, Leolyn Robinson of Palm Coast, brother, Ronald Robinson of Palm Coast,four nieces, and two nephews Joan Robinson and Julia Bernard of London, England, Tonia Hall of Queens, NY and Tamika Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona, Marvin Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona and Gary Robinson of Palm Coast. Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers Eric Robinson in 2010 and Robert “Tally” Robinson in 2013. She is also survived by two sisters in law, Melvina Robinson and Thelma Robinson of Palm Coast, close friends Linda Bruno of Brooklyn, NY, Doreen Paryag and Clifford Pinnock of London, England, cousins, Earl Peter of Toronto, Canada, Gloria Mohamed of Port of Spain Trinidad, Inez and Robert Robinson of Creighton, Grenada. Other relatives and friends include the Robinson and LaTouche families of St. Pauls.
