Agnes Monica Edwards also known as Monica McGillivary to friends and nenen to family of L'Esterre, Carriacou, Grenada and London, England passed away peacefully at her home in L'Esterre, Carriacou, on Saturday October 11, 2014 at the age of 83. Left to mourn are her son William (Isaac) and his wife Glenda McGillivary in Canada. Her grand children Adaure, Allen (Kirsty) and Trevor McGillivary, Allison (Oscar) Mayers and Aston Lambert in the UK, Anthony Hyndman in the USA and Colin McGillivary in Canada. Her great grand children Alika, Angelique, Andreya, Alexandra, Mia, Renale, Makada and Nathan in the UK. Her great great grand children Amayah and Kaya in the UK. Her sisters and brothers Anastasia Green, Victoria Callandar, Victor (Joyce) McGillivary in the UK and Hilton (Sheila) Noel, Mt. Pleasant, Carriacou. Many nieces and nephews including Mora, Monica, Maria, Gloria, Carol (Aaron), Sharon (Dudley), Paul, Gerry, Marilyn, Darren, Adrian (Molly), Christine, Ann (Peter), Olive, Pethlyn (Steve), Geoff (Kelly), Paul (Sue). Many grand and great grand nieces and nephews including Matthew, Trisha, Massiah, Gemo, Marteen, Marlon, Candice, Laureen, Elliott, Courtney, Ryan, Rhianna, Rachel, Jason, Mark, Delphie, Luke, Bianca, Tia, T'shan, Trey, Jayden, Bradley and Louise. Many relatives and friends including Zethrine Sophia Barclay, Daisy, Cannie, Ruth, Louise, Phillip in Carriacou, Theresa and Gibson in the UK, Ilfil and Vina and Evina in Grenada. McGillivary and Stanislaus family in Carriacou, other relatives and friends in Grenada, the UK, USA, Canada and L'Esterre Carriacou. Monica is preceded by her daughter Mollina Lambert and her brothers Patrick and Mark McGillivary. Funeral service for the late Agnes Monica Edwards nee McGillivary will take place in Carriacou on Thursday 30th October 2014 at a 2:00pm at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hillsborough, Carriacou. Interment at Brunswick Cemetary. A Memorial and Celebration of Monica's life will be held in the UK on a date to be announced later.
