The death is announced of Veronica Leatha Paul a.k.a Mother Paul or Teacher Leta. Veronica was born in Fontenoy, but lived in River Road and Belmont, St. George’s, Grenada, before relocating to Brooklyn, New York. She died on June 18th, 2015 at the age of 81-years-old. She was the daughter to the late Louise Peters and Albert Alexis from Grenada. Left behind are her six (6) children: Cherryl Phillips, Claudia Alexis, Ann Paul, Kenrick Paul, Nadia Paul and Kim Paul. Stepmother to Kathleen, Bernadette, Hazel Ann and Anthony. Mother-in law to Sherib Drayton-Paul. Grandmother of ten (10): Ron, Crispin, Jennifer, Stephen, Reva, Sharifa, Racqueal, Keisha, Dexter and Kyle. Great Grandmother of five (5): Tariq, Nathaniel, John, Jaron and Jemma. Grandmother-in-law to Cyron Fraser. All reside in the United States. She is cousin to Christopher Caesar in St. George’s, Grenada. She leaves behind other family members including her nieces and nephews: Virginia Mitchell and son David, Cherryl Carol Joseph and family in Grenada and the UK. June, Barbara and Ingrid in the UK. Bernadine Alexis and family in the United States. Fabian, Henny, Nerrersa, Gordon, Elma Alexis and family, all in Grenada. The Sylvester family in Grenada. Bernard Frank in the U.S. Many other friends including Margaret Bernard in Alberta, Canada. The Francis family, Ann-Marie Louison and family, Cecelia Coutain and family in the United States. Very Close friends of the family George Marricheau and Bryon Brown in Grenada. Loxton Lewis in the United States.
