The death is announced of Phillip Belfon also known as “Dr. Zackey the herbalist” a well-known Calypsonian, of Post Royal St Andrew who passed away on Tuesday 17th November 2015 at the age of 58. He was the; Father of: Lovina Thomas also known as “Pinky”, Miranda Murrell, Alex a Student of Tamcc, Abby a student of School for Special Education and Cassie a student of SASS. Brother of: Marcelle in the US, Phillipa in Canada, Eileen and Marslyn in Trinidad and Innocent an employee of Grenada Solid Waste Management Authority. Uncle of: Delta, Naty, Kevin, Latoya, Delroy, Elizah Young also known as “Billy”, Elta, Afisha and Nasha . Nephew of: Ralph, Ben, Edrick and Gregs. Brother in-law of: Debra, John and Joy. Grand Father of: Cody, Nequan, Derelle, Kalie and Alyne. He was the Relative and Friend of many including: The Belfon families of Soubise, Mt Sealey and Marquise , Akim, Sac Man, Danny, Janey and Linda in the UK, Sharon Murelle , Nurse Gillian Jones , The boys by Payshay’s Shop , Friends and neighbours of Post Royal , Deblandeau and Union . The funeral Service of the late Phillip Belfon also known as “Dr. Zackey” will be held on Thursday 26th November 2015 at 2:00pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Soubise St Andrew and interment will follow at the family cemetery at Post Royal St Andrew. The body of the late Phillip Belfon will be taken from Wayne’s Funeral Home at 12:30pm on Thursday 26th November 2015 for the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Soubise St Andrew.
