VIEWING: For the late Alister Belfon will be held on Friday, Nov.27th, 2015 from 5:00- 7:00pm.
Funeral service will follow immediately at 7:00pm.

Alister Michael Belfon, AKA “Gigaly” was born in Sauteurs, St. Patrick’s, Grenada on June 28th, 1950. He attended St. Patrick’s Angelican School and became one of the first 27 pupils of McDonald College (MDC) on January 21st, 1963. Upon graduating from McDonald College, he attended Grenada Boys Secondary School (GBSS) to complete his advanced levels. He migrated to the United States in 1971 and graduated from Medgar College with his BSC.
He was very bright and articulate. He was known as a very snazzy and meticulous dresser. As a designer, he created pieces for celebrities such as Melba Moore and Freddie Jackson. Alister worked as an underwriter on Wall Street until his retirement. In in younger days he was a very good football player. He brightened up any atmosphere with his dancing and warm smile.
Left to mourn his passing is his mother; Christiana Belfon, sisters; Norma, Ruth, and Patsy, brothers; Samuel (Kingston), Patrick, Derek, Carlyle (Mazic), and Clendon (Trinidad). Sisters-in-law; Judy and Georgia, brother-in-law; George, children; Hajjie, Thea, Chloe, Alicia, and Kyle; son-in-law; Cleon, daughter-in-law; Tamera, grandchildren; Isaiah, Dillon, McKenzie, Dejaney, Kiema, Khalil and Aaliyah. Aunt Sheila in Grenada, Nephews; Jason and Tyrell, nieces; Samantha, April, Monique, Leigh, Gabrielle, Christy, and Crystalanne, grand nephews; Braeden and Liam. Additionally, he leaves a host of cousins, friends, and family. Alister will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace, gone but not forgotten!
i worked with Alister at the wall st firm, i am saddened to read of this notice, Alister was a very nice, kind man and a sharp dresser.
