The death is announced of Lawrence Baptiste also known as Danly McQueen of Grand Roy, St. John's, Grenada. Baptiste who resided in Brooklyn NY passed away on March 17, 2018 at the age of 89. He was the father of Daphne Lawrence and the late Basil Lawrence of Grenada. He was the brother of Lashley McQueen – the only surviving sibling of 5 boys. Grandfather of 8 – Cheryl Forrester and Stephanie Billy in the US; Jacqueline, Alicia, Andy, and Wayndell in Grenada; and Alana and Stephen in Trinidad. Great-Grand Father of 15, including David, Daniel and Deleon Thomas in the US; Great Great-Grand Father of 12. Uncle of many including Pearl Patterson, Marcia, Carol and Garfield McQueen In the US; Carl, Chrispin, Anthea, and Pamela in Grenada; Gennalyn in Canada and Lisa in Trinidad.
