RENEE HASTICK-MOTES BROOKLYN, NY [7/18/2020]
Members of the Doyle-Marshall family are saddened by the passing of our very dear friend and Brother Dr. Roy Hastic. His desire to see our folks unite and progress economically will be remembered for quite a while. I met Roy as a young journalist residing in Brooklyn and covering the United Nations back in the 1960s. His efforts will be remembered for a very long time.

I met Roy in 1985 just about the time he had the inspiration to found CACCI.I was a green lawyer then with zero experience in law of Corporations.Roy was driven by his ideas;he hopped on a bus to Albany and filed the papers himself. He was a man of vision with the tenacity to see his ideas through. he made CACCI his life's work, toiling over three decades to heip Small business get their foot in the door.
Roy was a visionary, a mentor and friend to uncounted numbers of small business men and women to whom he gave a hand up
. When the history of Caribbean-Americans is written,Roy will be remembered as the trail blazer he was.
I will miss him.My condolences to .the family.
