It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Claire Solomon-Copland of Grenville Street, St. George’s who died on April 27, 2014 at the age of 99.
She was the widow of the late George Solomon and Henry Copland, mother of ten children, grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of five.
Mother of Edmond (Monica) in the United States, Raphael (Myrah) in the United States, Michael (Lisa) in the United States, Reginald (Margaret-Ann) in Canada, Rita (Kenrick) Robertson, in the United States, Cynthia (Bernd) Esgen in Canada, and Anne-Marie in Canada.
Grandmother of Antonio, Ricky, Sharon & Li-wen, Patricia & Cosmos, Ali & Sabrina, Mikisa, Sean & Candice, Kenny, Ryan & Keri, Marsha & Asante and Alana & Ishri.
Great Grandmother of Aidan, Ian, Miles, James and Brendan.
Sister of Roy Coutain, Louise Medford & Gertrude Fraser. Godmother of Greta Coutain and Ian Ferguson. Many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
