Daphne Bartholomew- Nash also known as Teacher Daphne, was born on 5th December, 1929 in La Fillette , St. Andrews, Grenada.
She was the daughter of Josephine Mayers and Zepherine Bartholomew both deceased.
She was a teacher at St. Mary’s R. C. School in La Fillette, Grenada.
She moved to Trinidad around the age of twenty four where she met and married David Nash in 1957.
She has six children Carlyle Francois, Rawle, Ray, Aaron, Earl and Bernadette also known as Joy.
She has fourteen grandchildren including Samantha better known as Telly in Canada, Mellissa and Lisa in the USA. Nicole, Tasha, Crystal, Kerry, Ray, Shawn, Andre, Randy, Cleo, Rhonda, Faith, Jamie, Jamal and Janelle in Trinidad.
She has six great grandchildren
Other family and friends include Daughter-in-laws Cherilann and Gloria.

Body is held at the Elite Funeral Home, Point Fortin, Trinidad.
Funeral Service for Daphne Bartholomew-Nash will be held on Thursday February 11th 1:30pm at Point Fortin Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Burial will be at the Point Fortin Cemetery
