The funeral service for the late Claudette Paula Cato will be held on Friday, October 27 2023 at Non-Denominational Assembly Of God In Christ Worldwide Fellowship Inc, located 22 Kane Pl Brooklyn, NY 11233 Viewing:6:00PM-7:00PM Service:7:00PM The final resting place for the late Claudette Paula Cato will be held at Vendome Cemetery, in her home country Grenada.

Special Info  Eulogy Claudette Paula Cato Nee Frederick On May 23rd, 1968 the shores of Grenada was illuminated upon God’s gift to Matthew and Monica Frederick of a sweet, dark, chocolate baby girl. She was dedicated Claudette Paula but was favouritely called Paula. She grew up in the village of Vendome, St. George’s and attended the Vendome R.C school for her primary education. She also attended the Anglican High school. She had a yearning for improving herself academically and pursued higher education with T.A.Marryshow Community College and graduated with honours in paralegal studies. She also graduated from University of the West Indies with the certificate in Public administration. Paula dedicated thirty three of her fifty five years working in the Public Service of Grenada. All of those years were spent in the Legal system. She held positions as Deeds clerk, clerk typist, copyist, hansard reporter, Court clerk, Secretary to the Solicitor General, Attorney General, Labour Commissioner, Clerk of Parliament. mediation clerk, and ended her career as Court Administrator of the Supreme Court. She gave yoeman service in the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Magistrate’s Court, Mediation Centre, Supreme Court Registry, High Court, Houses of Parliament and Ministry of laabour. She retired in December 2022. As a born again believer, Sister Paula remained faithful to God and service to the Vendome Pentecostal, New life Chapel Church where she served as secretary on the church board for over twenty years. She was a great organiser of church activities and also served as a team leader of prayer meetings. When she migrated to New York, she was introduced to Non Denominational Christian Fellowship and remained part of that family until her transition. Despite the challenges of the COVID pandemic, she was able to stay connected on a weekly basis with several prayer groups virtually. She joined the Grenada National Prayer Warriors: War Room Prayer Warriors and the Guyana/US/Grenada prayer group. The times spent with these groups strengthened her resolve in God. She was a source of spiritual support to many whom she had encounter with. Paula was a caring and very loving person with a quiet personality and always a good friend to many. To her children she had a different touch. Nyron called her “Ma”, Keeba called her “Mummy” and Jarel called her “Mother”. To all her neices and nephews she was the favourite “Tanty Paula”. Her home was a house of refuge for all. Left to cherish her memories are her Husband, Lydon Cato; Mother, Monica Frederick; Children, Nyron, Keeba and Jarel. Grand children, Keara and Keana; Sisters, Dolores Penny, Veronica Charles, Yolande Elcock. Aunts, Louina Thomas, Ruby Roberts, Irene Johnson. Uncles, George Thomas, Louise James,Norman Frederick, Albertina Pivot,Dexter Frederick. Nephews, Sheldon Thomas, Raldon Thomas, Kurnell Penny, Donnell penny, Gilron Charles, Rocqui Charles, Ike Carter. Neices, Renortha Penny, Donna Lisa Penny, Lucy-Anna Greaves and Mandy Alexander. In laws include Reginald, Gilbert, Byron, Fitzroy, Lorna, Lydia, Karen, Lordlyn, Ann, Lennox, Dereck, Anthony, David, Lenny. Step children Nicole, Jerome, Lydon, Joshua, Jonathan, lynisha, Pearl Relatives and friends include Keville Frederick, Joan Baptiste, Wendy Braveboy, Vah Hercules, Ray Mapp, Ramona, Esther Jacobs, Staff of the Supreme Court Registry, Ministry of Legal Affairs, Pastor Lennox St. Louis and members of theVendome New Life Chapel, Grenada, Pastor Winston Williams and members of Non Denominational Christian Fellowship, Brooklyn, New York , Frederick families, Johnson families, Thomas families neighbours and the community of Vendomme and Willis. On 11th October 2023 Paula transitioned to glory at 1.38 P.M to be with her saviour who has called her to a mansion in the sky. May her soul rest in peace.
