The death is announced of Mrs. Evena Greaves Morris (nee Mathurine), also known as Ms. Girlie, of Upper Capital, St. Andrew, Grenada, who resided in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Mrs. Evena died in the United Kingdom on November 20, 2023 at the age of 95. Prior to permanently taking up residence in New York, Mrs. Evena resided in the United Kingdom. She was the mother of: Cuthbert, Eliza, Agnes, Yvette, Wayne, and Catherine. Grandmother of 15, and great grandmother of 23. Mrs. Evena is survived by 1 sister, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday January 26, 2024, at 5020 Foster Ave. (between E51 St. and Utica Ave.)Brooklyn, NY 11203 Interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery.
