Special Info  Amirah Rose McDonald was born on May 10, 2017, to Michael and Rosemarie McDonald. From the beginning, Amirah was a teacher to us all. She gave us all purpose and patience. The patience to nurture, love, and understand her, while giving us the ability to become better persons in our own journey through life. Amirah’s love was like no other. Without any words she would communicate how big her heart was with the touch or the grab from her hand. With the flip of the wrist, Princess Amirah would get you to kiss her. Running room to room Amirah would grab everyone’s attention and the room would be smiling. Amirah lived and loved loudly. Amirah had so many interests during her time here with us. She enjoyed the beach, swimming, basketball, listening to music, and Peppa Pig to name a few. As an expression of love, Amirah would enjoy climbing on people so she can sit on your lap and rub your face. Through her eyes she would communicate her love and if she was about to do something mischievous. Our Princess loved school and was eager to learn and be around her friends. Amirah started her education at Happy and Aware Faces Daycare in Brooklyn. She later moved on to Birch Family Services 3K For All. She loved getting on the school bus to her more recent school P233Q in Hollis, NY. God places everything we need in our hearts until completion. We are met with unexplained challenges in life that causes us to question why. Sometimes we are supposed to know and sometimes God gives us “ah hah” moments where everything that we need comes into fruition. We are to take the small lessons that our beautiful 5-year-old taught us; grow and build off those lessons. Our Sweet Princess made her transition on December 1st, 2022. Amirah Rose leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Michael and Rosemarie; grandparents, David (Simon), Pauline, and Kathleen; siblings, Sherese, Kareem, and Kai; uncles, Jason, Salim, and Kobe; aunts, Deserine, Catherine, Ashley, Ericka, and Zechira; caregiver, Leah; a host of cousins, godparents, extended aunts & uncles, and friends too numerous to name. ~Lovingly Submitted by The Family
